Designed for welding stainless steel, including types 301, 302, 304, 305, and 308, this filler metal features an average carbon content of 0.02%, ensuring excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion caused by carbide precipitation. Recognized as the most commonly utilized stainless steel MIG wire, ER308L delivers reliable performance across a range of applications.

Mechanical Properties:

• Ultimate Tensile Strength: ~84,100 psi (580 MPa)
• Yield Strength (0.2% Offset): ~58,000 psi (400 MPa)
• Elongation: ~42%
